What a great puppy!

Tiffany loves to give kisses. She is small enough to sit and snuggle on your knee, a favourite activity for her!
Tiffany is such a great puppy! I have fostered many dogs over time, but she is my favourite. She is plucky and fun, yet sensitive and sweet. Everyone who meets her thinks she is adorable. And all in such a tiny package! Her adult teeth are coming in, meaning she is approaching 5 months and she is still only 16 pounds.

A Day in the Life of.......

Playing soccer. Tiffany loves to play with toys and balls, by herself, with you, or with other dogs. She will play a nice game of retrieve with a ball or toy. I sit at the table and drink my coffee and make her run up and down the room, she has more energy than me!

Taking another nap! Tiffany is not a frantic or wild puppy at all. After a play session she will take herself off for a nap. Many puppies have to learn that skill. It's one of the numerous things she is good at. And no, the book is not hers, she's a very bright puppy, but she's not started reading yet!

Playing with Pipo. Their favourite toys are the Xmas ones. Thye have endless fun chasing snowman around.

Planning mischief! Deciding whether to go and jump on Pipo who is asleep!

Chillin' with Pipo

Sharing a quiet moment with Pipo after a hectic game together. Tiffany is about 16 pounds now and 4 months old, we estimate she will be a smaller adult dog of about 30-35 pounds. Pipo is 38 pounds as a comparison (though he is tall and lanky!) She settles very nicely after playing and will nap in her crate or in a sun spot.

This is the life

Tiffany came to her foster home on Monday February, 12th after a long stay at the Durham shelter. Why no one adopted her is a mystery. She's a very good puppy, sweet, affectionate, playful, and comical. She sleeps quietly in her crate overnight and only took three days to get on a housetraining routine.

She loves to play with her foster "brother" Pipo. They constantly play chase games and tug together. She is very polite to Snowflake the older dog of the family. She will steal toys from Pipo who is only a year, but she is smart enough not to try this with Snowflake!

As she missed an important period of her puppy socialising she has some fears we are working on. So many things are new to her. Her adoptive family needs a committment to take her out and about to experience the world. What a fun project for the coming spring weather.
